Housekeeping – Seasonal (3 Positions)

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 May to October 2023

Job Summary:

The housekeeping team is responsible for the cleanliness, and organization of the all accommodations units at the Big Bar Guest Ranch.  You will be responsible for changing Sheets/towels, and checking the kitchen areas in the cabins.  Check the daily housekeeping schedule and procedures for cleaning each unit. Wash, dry, fold and organize sheets, bedding, towels and face cloths and ensure that all safety and sanitation policies are followed and implemented.  Assist other staff when needed to ensure optimum services to guests.  Guests at the Ranch will be met with professional, friendly, and courteous service.

Education: 

  • Grade 12 or a combination of knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with housekeeping is an asset.

Experience:

  • Two years work experience in comparable job is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to self-regulate, meet deadlines, have attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workload.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Receives minimal supervision with occasional direction and very few checks of the work performed.
  • Must take and pass WHMIS certification.
